'Sex Step'

The latest offering from 'Croydon's Finest' Skream. Exclusively previewed on annie mac's show on friday, here it is for your listening pleasure. By the way don't watch the horrible radio 1 sound effects!

One More Chance

Link Removed At Artists Request

Thought i'd share this remix I found whilst browsing my home away from home, The Dubstep Forum. Feeling this track a lot, as it's more the type of dubstep I personally like, mellow and chilled out, but don't be fooled, this track packs a deep low end wobble sure enough to tear your sub apart !

Yet another chilled tune, by one of dubstep leading dj's, Caspa. This one was given away free by NME magazine, who gave away one of dubestp's biggest tunes of the year, In For The Kill. Caspa has really wored his magic on this one, melodic synths and drums and of course his signature heeeaavy bassline.

Although slightly old now, this tune deserves a lot of recognition. If you haven't heard this yet then get on it now, Joker is killing it right now !

La Roux (again)

This artist seems to have been remixed to hell lately, but that dosn't mean the remixes aint dope!

Heres the Chrispy remix of Bulletproof, probably my favourite remix of this tune, with a heavier sound than the others.

La Roux - Bulletproof (Chrispy Remix)

Chrispy's one to watch for the future, watch this space

Stage Diver

I didn't think DnB and the sound of guitars went too well together, I was wrong, check out this sick one by Phetsta and the masters that are Camo & Krooked. This one has that kind of warping mid that seems to becoming more popular in DnB, and it works really well with the guitar sounds.

When I Look At You

Everyone should have heard "Emalkay - When I look At You"

Heres the absolutely heavy remix by Sduk, turn this one up. Can't wait for release.

Emalkay - When I Look At You (Sduk Remix)

Also just heard this remix by Spore, not sure what to think of it. I liked Spores older darker stuff, compared to this relatively light remix of Basement Jaxx, depends if they are going to go down this route. It's still a big tune.

Check it out:

You can cop this at all the usual sites.

I Give You Everything

Just peeped this on the Dubstep Forums, one of Skream's new productions due for release on his highly anticipated album. This is him previewing it at Bestival a couple of weeks back. You all should know what he is capable of, so just take a listen and comment your opinion !

Bloc Party - Biko (Graphics Remix)

Featured a little while ago on the blog, one of my hotly tipped producers for the future, Graphics returns with another deep remix. This time of Bloc Party's fairly less well known tune 'Biko'. This is the perfect tune to sit and chill with, but make sure you've got a sub on this, laptop speakers wont cut it for this bass!

Don't Cry Soundbwoy

Heres a new one on Heavy Artillery records.

The original starts off with a chilled beat and little vocal and turns into a bouncy beat which comes from nowhere.

Then I.D comes in and turns this into some filth, I love the remix probably more than the original.

It's not gonna be for everyone, as these tunes are both pretty different from the normal dub these days, but they are both sick.

You can bag it on Vinyl now at Chemical.

Completely unrelated, what do people think of the Nero remix of Dizzee Rascal on the Ministry Of Sound (Addicted To Bass) Album?

It's a great remix I can't deny that, but I hope we don't see Nero getting too commercial, as they really are probably some of the best producers in DnB and Dubstep at the moment, to see them sell out would suck.

Check it out anyway:

Where's My Money (Caspa Mix) [Elite Force Re-Edit]

Well everyone knows the Caspa remix of this massive tune, and I loved the Jack Beats refix. Here's another refix for those who are still loving Where's My Money. Adding a new beat and chopping it up again, this is sure to be a favourite.

TC - Where's My Money (Caspa Mix) [Elite Force Re-fix]

Dr Nimble

Heard this one by Dr Nimble and loved it from the start. The piano samples seem to fit perfectly with the bassline, which is heavy ! Dr Nimble is a small UK based producer, who I've been following a bit lately, and this stuff needs to get put out there.

Give this one a listen, you won't regret it.

Dr Nimble - Critical Mass

Head over to his myspace and show some support.

Anything using the sample from the DnB tune Machete had to be filthy, and this one deffinately is.

Featured in a mix I heard recently, been wanting to get this one on mp3.

Shorterz 99 - Enigma Groove (Ripgroove Dubstep Remix)

First heard this one on a Toddla T video and have been trying to find it ever since, then earlier today it pops into my inbox. A massive rework of a classic tune, packing the wobble whilst keeping the essence of the original. It's been given away for free on a new label "Bigger Than Barry Records", if this is a new name to you then watch out for them, putting on massive nights up and down the country, these boys definitely know how to throw a wild party, and now have started releasing tunes. Expect massive things from the boys at Barry, and check out this tune, you wont be disappointed !

Pon De Floor (Blue Bear Remix)

Major Lazer - Pon De Floor (Blue Bear Remix)

I think it's safe to say everyone who is interested in dubstep/house/garage has heard of the dynamic duo that is Major Lazer by now, producing quick paced, vibrant dancehall tunes, they are certainly getting a lot of attention. I first heard about this remix on the Dubstep Forums, then decided to track it down, it was definitely worth it. Slightly different to your usual dubstep remix, this one still packs a wobble whilst chopping up the vocals nicely. This is only a 128kbps sample, so buy the full release when it drops !

Heres the 6th tune from the 16 bit mix below, which dropped on Subway in August.

It's been in a few mixes, including the plastician mix where it went hand in hand with Migrane Skank, so it's good to finally get this tune on mp3.

More Bukkha

This isn't the first time I've posted some of Bukkhas upcoming tunes, and it's not going to be the last if he keeps up this standard. Heres one coming at the end of the month on StupidFly Records, as well as a couple of other tunes coming out at the same time.

Sounds nice and dark but still with a nice sounding bass, check it out for yourself.

Mercury's Rainbow

Recently posted on youtube by one of the most elusive producers in dubstep, Zomby's new productions are sounding glitchy as ever. Sounding a little more minimal than his recent 'One Foot Ahead Of The Other' EP, these tracks are definitely worth a listen.

Mr Sleepz - Welcome The Thing of Bass

Another big one from Mr Sleepz. I came across this so far unreleased tune and loved it from the start.
