Fable
Just heard this Free EP 'Ur Not Gully' from Nottingham based Dubstep producer Fable, and really enjoyed it, showing a lot of diversity in production. From straight up raw hard beats, into some softer, deeper dubstep there should be something here for everyone to enjoy.
Here's a couple of clips from my favourites, as well as the link to download the EP. Don't rely on the clips though download to enjoy in 320 quality.

Introducing: Shredexx
Introducing today an artist who has really impressed me with a variety of different, but all fresh beats. Hailing from Germany (Via Australia and the UK) we are pleased to bring you Shredexx.
Having come from a musical family, being the nephew of German dub/techno pioneer Moritz von Oswald (Basic Channel / Rythmn & Sound) he has had bass driven music in his life from an early age.
We posted a hard tune from Shredexx a few days ago 'Thurr VIP' (Check that here), and he's sent a couple of beats for preview, as well as a track to download free! The first one is on this whole future-garage tip if that's what you wanna call it, with the intelligent drums and deep vibe that I'm really enjoyin' lately!
Intergon3 by shredexx
Next up is sounding slightly darker, but still deep vibes. Love the production on these beats! This one's been given out free for you to download.
[Download] Shredexx - K49PM
Finally we are heading into the darker dubstep side of things. Don't listen to these if you ain't got the system to hold it together, because these deserve a proper quality soundsystem or headphones. This one would send the place on some mad deep vibe at a club..
More Goodbyes by shredexx
Watch out for a release on 'More Goodbyes' / Thurr V!P / Intraverse on For the Win Records !
Trust me when I say this is not the last you have heard of Shredexx, with these being only a few of the massive massive tunes he has locked away and in production!
Send some love over at the Soundcloud and Myspace, and keep your eyes peeled for more from this huge producer. Remember where you heard it first.

Skream - I Can't Wait
Skream just upped this new bit with Newham Generals to his soundcloud. Skream as usual is hot on the production, although I personally enjoyed Newham Generals more on Breakage's more dubby beat.
No info on release yet but I'm highly anticipating it along with so many of Skream's productions.

Interview: Liquid Stranger
So anyone who takes an interest in the darker, heavier side of dubstep will have heard of Rottun Recordings, and we have been enjoying their releases for a while now.
We've been chatting with Liquid Stranger, who's got a long musical history and has got an album dropping on Rottun on the 15th of March! Here's a heavy as fuck mix, as well as an interview with him.
Liquid Stranger Short Fuse 2009 Mix (Download)
GYD: How did you get into the whole electronic music scene, and what were you into before dubstep?
LS: I got my first synthesizer in 1986, so that is when I started making electronic music. At first I was inspired by the unearthly sounds of Kraftwerk, Data, and Devo. During the summer of love (88-89) I got into the rave scene and the Acid house,
Techno, and, somewhat later, the Trance culture. I was really into Warp records and the R&S stuffs.
During this time, I released techno and progressive trance as Necton, Slugger and Metatron. In 1996 I got into the Nu Skool Breaks scene, and did some releases under name Rhoca. Simultaneously, I was part of the collective Subnatura and CandyMind, focusing on trippy IDM, and Electronica. Dub and Reagge has been a great influence as well which can be heard on my albums on Interchill.
GYD: What do you personally listen to for enjoyment, all heavier sounding stuff, or do you enjoy the more dubby, chilled side to dubstep as well?
LS: I enjoy a wide range of music, not at all limited to electronic music. It all depends on context, for home listening I prefer ambient/chill, and on the dancefloor I love the hard and heavy stuffs. I started off as a classical pianist, and consequently I am really into the works of various classical composers such as Beethoven, Orff, and Prokofiev. I am also a big fan of old school HipHop, Blues, and World/Ethno fusion.
GYD: How long have you been producing for?
LS: Well, I started when I was eight so...24 years now. I had my first official release when I was 17.
GYD: You've recently had releases on Rottun Recordings, these guys are really blowing up and gaining support, how does it feel to be a part of that?
LS: am glad that the Rottun guys get the attention they deserve. The label is most definately the epiphany of in-yer-face Dubstep.
My fullenght Rottun album "The Private Riot" drops March 15.
GYD: Any plans for UK / Europe shows?
LS: Not really. I have a very busy schedule nowadays, and my main focus is on my work as a Martial Arts/Firearms instructor. I still do some shows in the US/Canada, but I simply do not have enough time to be on the road for weeks on end. I used to tour extensiviely with my Techno/Trance music between 1996-2003, but over the years I grew a bit tired of gloomy airports, sketchy environments, and odd hours. I am still very passionate about making music, and will probably continue to produce as long as I my ears stay intact ;)
GYD: Who's your top 5 artists to watch in 2010?
LS: I honestly don't keep up to date with new releases. I basically just listen to whatever gets sent my way. When I am at a gig I often hear tunes that I really enjoy, but unfortunately I seldom find out exactly which tunes are in the mix. Having said that, 5 dubstep artists that I have really enjoyed lately are: Datsik, 16 bit, Koan Sound, J:Kenzo, and Funtcase.
Big ups to Liquid Stranger for that, and big up the rest of Interchill Records!

Heavy
Been pretty busy lately, got a big post for you today though to make up for it!
First off we have a remix from Heavyfeet. Loving those drums and the vocal fits real well! These guys have been smashing it up for a while now, and have recently started their own label: Stamp! Beats
Roisin Murphy - Momma's Place (Heavyfeet Remix)
The plan for the new label is that over the next 12 months they are going to release 12 singles, each with an original vocal mix, club mix, and guest remix! This is definitely something to keep your eyes on. They have also recently dropped a mix which is worth checking out, with a fat range of genres and styles to be heard.
Heavyfeet - Spring 2010 Mix (Mixcloud link)
Another producer I've been watching lately is Gella. His latest release, ft. Spyda on Sub Slayers 'Twinkle' is massive, and is getting rinsed all over the shop with support from N-Type, Starkey and more. You can check it out in his latest mix, it's the first tune. Big to see Spyda on some 140 beats!
Gella - March 2010 Promo Mix
Now for the DnB side of things, just been listening to a beat by a new producer Shofer. Like he says himself it's a simple tune, but in my opinion got a great vibe to it, hope to hear an improvement on this kinda sound! Download on the soundcloud.
My Sunshine by SHOFER
And for those on the grimier tip, Sensai and Heist's forthcoming tune! Cheers to the inspector for this one.
Enjoy

I think i'm turning Japanese..
If your feelin the movements of genre which was once known as "house" but can now mean virtually anything with a bpm from 126-134 then you should have already heard about Marco Giuliani, otherwise known as Last Japan or if your right on it then one half of The Brockout. The first i heard of him was the dark wobbly remix of Foamo's Wardance a while back and i thought i'd email him a couple of questions as he's the kind of producer thats gonna enjoy 2010!
This is what he had to say..
1. Where you from and how has it influenced your music taste?
I live in a place called Sutton which is just south of London. I would say that where im from has influenced my taste in music much, mainly the influence of other people, (friends and family) that has shaped my style in music that i make and listen to.
2. How did you get into DJin/producing?
Im doing a degree production at ACM so its just escalated from there really, DJing came from the fact that i needed to promote my music, and also because i enjoy it!
3. Where have you most enjoyed performing (either venue or country)?
Shake Dat Ass @ Nouveau Casino has been my best gig so far the venue is amazing and the people in France go crazy!
4.Whats your favourite genre/scene is right now and why?
I don't really know what to pigeonhole the genre of music im into, but i really love what Redlight and Buraka Som Sistema, are doing! Im really getting into the tropical vibes which are coming across in my music as Last Japan and The Brockout. Redlights style is really rubbing off on me at the moment so im working hard to try and put my own spin on it. Its fast paced (130 - 138bpm) energetic and main room party music!
5. Where you at currently musicwise?
Collaborating with people! I've just done a track with Ajapai, and there's lots of other artists in the pipeline that will feature on my album. I think its important to involve other aspects of music to keep people interested, i've made enough instrumentals!
6. What do you have planned for the rest of 2010?
2010, Album, Lots touring, The Brockout and producing for other artists
So alot to look forward to!
If you haven't yet heard any of his work as either Last Japan or The Brockout i have a small but tasty selection that he has kindly sent over for you all to see for yourselves that this man means business!
Last Japan:
Pull it! (Last Japan Remix) - Shystie
